This project reimagines a traditional oast house, extending and remodelling it to create a modern family home for a growing family to enjoy more space. A striking new bridge link connects the original house to a contemporary extension, elegantly spanning over the existing garage structure. The scheme introduces two additional bedrooms and a new garage with an adjoining garden room. The design celebrates the oast house’s traditional features while integrating clean, contemporary detailing, resulting in a unique home that boasts past and present character.
