We were appointed to design a contemporary three-bedroom townhouse on rear infill plot for a local client, transforming an underused space into a high-quality modern home. The scheme maximises the site’s potential while remaining sensitive to the surrounding streetscape.
The property is arranged across three levels, featuring a generous master bedroom with integrated dressing room, along with two additional bedrooms. At ground floor, an open-plan kitchen, dining and family area forms the heart of the home, designed to bring natural light deep into the plan and create a flexible space for everyday living. A room within the roof accommodates a quiet study/snug, offering separation for work or relaxation.
The exterior is crafted from imperial weathered original London stock brick, chosen to reflect the traditional character of the area while delivering a refined, contemporary finish. Light grey aluminium window frames provide a crisp contrast, enhancing the clean architectural lines of the façade.
